These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sargly platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

1. About Sargly
Sargly is a platform designed to help users identify potential phone scams and suspicious phone-related activity through phone number lookup functionality and aggregated community reporting signals.
Sargly currently operates as an independent project focused on the European market, initially starting in Latvia.
2. Eligibility
By using the Service, you represent that:
- you are legally permitted to use the Service under applicable laws,
- you will comply with these Terms,
- you will not use the Service for unlawful or abusive purposes.
3. Nature of the Service
Sargly provides informational tools and aggregated scam-related signals based on community submissions and moderation processes.
Information displayed on the platform may include:
- complaint counts,
- scam complaint categories,
- partial phone number information,
- risk indicators or reputation-related signals (if introduced in the future).
Sargly does not guarantee that any information published through the Service is complete, accurate, or up to date.
Users are solely responsible for how they interpret and use information provided by the Service.
4. User Submissions
Users may submit scam complaints and related information through the platform.
By submitting information to Sargly, you agree that:
- your submissions must not contain knowingly false or misleading information,
- you will not harass, threaten, or impersonate others,
- you will not submit unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or malicious content,
- you will not attempt to manipulate or abuse the platform.
Sargly reserves the right to reject, remove, edit, or moderate submissions at its sole discretion.
5. Moderation
All submissions may be reviewed and moderated before aggregation or publication.
Sargly may:
- approve or reject submissions,
- remove content,
- restrict access,
- suspend abusive activity,
- take moderation actions without prior notice or explanation.
Moderation decisions are made at the sole discretion of Sargly.
6. Privacy
Use of the Service is also governed by the Sargly Privacy Policy.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that certain technical and operational data may be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- scrape, harvest, or mass-collect data from the Service,

Sargly does not guarantee that:
- scam reports are accurate,
- risk indicators are correct,
- all fraudulent activity will be detected,
- the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Information provided by the Service should not be considered legal, financial, law enforcement, or professional advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sargly shall not be liable for:
- indirect damages,
- loss of profits,
- reputational harm,
- business interruption,
- reliance on platform information,
- inaccurate reports or classifications,
- service downtime or technical issues.
Users assume full responsibility for decisions made based on information obtained through the Service.
11. Data and Public Information
Sargly is designed with privacy-oriented principles.
Publicly visible information is limited to aggregated or partial data, such as:
- complaint counts,
- complaint categories,
- partial phone number information.
Free-text complaint comments are not publicly displayed.
Phone numbers may be processed using hashing or masking techniques.

Sargly reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms.

Sargly may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time without liability.
